SEIU Local 73

Every year, workers contact Local 73 in hopes of forming a union. They look to address better job conditions, safer work environments, better benefits, and an improved life for themselves, their families and the communities they serve.

Currently fighting for their Union: Bethesda Lutheran group home workers standing up for quality services!

Workers at Bethesda Lutheran group homes in Illinois who provide direct support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are coming together to form a union with SEIU Local 73. By standing together, SEIU members have won better pay, affordable health benefits and a voice on the job. Bethesda workers look forward to using their voice to better advocate for the individuals they support.

The most recent workers to form their Union: Valley Hi Nursing Home!

Earlier this year, more than 100 employees at Valley Hi Nursing Home in McHenry County were officially certified as a Union with SEIU Local 73.

This means Valley Hi employees will have a say over work conditions and a chance to negotiate improvements to wages, benefits, working conditions and resident care!

It is the time for Valley Hi employees received a fair contract, one that prioritizes reisdent care and reflects the hard work done to make Valley Hi a great home for residents!

Fill out the form to the right if you or someone you know is interested in forming a union.Your information will be confidential, and you will be contacted by a Union Organizer.
